Pizza Party & Community Open Mic
Saturday, October 26th, 2024
Enjoy some delicious wood-fired pizza, dreamy garden vibes, and a community concert!
We want to make our pizza parties accessible to everyone in the neighborhood, so there is no registration necessary for this event. We'll have a buffet of pizzas available for you to take slices from and you can just show up and enjoy the event. It's still a fundraiser, so we will be collecting money. We suggest a donation of $20 to help cover the costs of materials, but we won't turn anyone away just because they can't pay.
We will have water available, all other drinks are BYOB.
Our pizza parties support Borland Green, a neighborhood green space where everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the space any time. In addition to these parties, we offer space for events, workshops, and garden beds.
Due to the free form nature of the event, it's possible that all of the seats will be full when you arrive. You may want to bring a folding lawn chair just in case.
Prospective Performers:
To sign up for the open mic, send your name and a description of your act to [email protected]. Participants may be asked to limit their performance to one piece for the sake of time. Amplification will be provided.
